Fuseta has 2 beaches:  

Fuseta Ria, or Praia dos Tesos, acces is direct at the village.

And Fuseta Mar, this beach is at the island, in front of the village. You can easily go there by ferry or water taxi.

Fuseta is the heart of the Ria Formosa Natural Park and surrounded by salt pans. The Ria Formosa is a beautiful lagune composed of canals, sandbanks, swamps and islands, 60 kms wide, starts at Quinta de Lago and ends at Monta Rota beach just before Altura and Monte Gordo. It is full of life.

But Fuseta has also a central place in the East Algarve, 20 kms from Faro, 15 kms from Tavira and 50 kms from Vila Real de Santo Antonio at the border with Spain. Olhão, the Cubistic capital of the Ria Formosa is only 10 kms away. And Because Fuseta has 2 train-stations, the cities and most villages can also be reached by public transport.
